Part-Time Veterinary Assistant / Sterilization Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments using approved protocols.
- Prepare surgical packs and PPE (gloves, gowns, drapes, masks).
- Operate sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and gas sterilizers.
- Decontaminate and clean operating rooms, sterile supply areas, and equipment daily and after procedures.
- Maintain surgical supply inventory and ensure proper stock levels in pack areas and surgical suites.
- Assist with preparing instruments and operating rooms for surgery.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for the surgical team regarding equipment use and care.
- Previous experience as a veterinary assistant.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology, anatomy, and surgical procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.
- Strong multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
