Responsibilities
- A licensed NY State Veterinary Technician who loves working with animals
- An independent worker
- Applies knowledge of drawing blood, and catheter placement minimizing patient discomfort.
- Monitoring animals during surgery, keeping accurate records in surgery including drug sheet and anesthesia log.
- Performs necessary diagnostics such as radiology and CT.
- Monitor post-surgical patients
- Take vital signs and administer medications
- Fill medications, complete at-home dosage and discharge instructions for clients
- Maintain and order inventory items
- 2 Year Minimum of Veterinary Technician Experience
- Knowledge of animal care and handling
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment
- Patience and a love for animals
- A Team Player, excited to collaborate with others
Salary : $25 - $30
