What You'll Be Doing
- Performing surgical prep and anesthesia monitoring for surgical patients
- Conducting dental scaling and polishing, including digital dental x-rays
- Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and blood draws
- Preparing and processing lab specimens
- Assisting veterinarians in exam rooms and with animal restraint
- Maintaining accurate patient medical records
What We're Looking For
- Current NYS Veterinary Technician License required
- Associate degree in Veterinary Technology required
- Hands-on experience with catheters, blood draws, anesthesia, and surgery
- Available to work 5 days a week, including one evening shift and a rotating Saturday. Our normal schedule is 4 10-Hour days per week.
- Demonstrated passion for patient care and client service
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player who can also work independently to meet goals and objectives
