Position Overview
- Primary job functions include surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, dental scaling and polishing along with digital dental x-rays, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and preparing lab specimens
- Assisting veterinarians with exam rooms and animal restraints
- Maintaining patient medical records
Qualifications of a Licensed Veterinary Technician
- Be Licensed by the state of NY
- Ability to work 5 days a week with one night shift and a rotating Saturday
- Experience with catheters, blood draws, anesthesia, and surgery
- Demonstrated passion for patient care and client service
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
