● IV catheter placement and intubation
● Dental cleanings & dental radiographs
● Urgent care and GP cases
● Surgical monitoring and recovery
● Medication administration
● Client communication & patient discharges
● Advanced training and continued skill development
We're looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is
dependable, collaborative, eager to continue learning, and wants to be part of
a team that genuinely values what credentialed technicians bring to veterinary
medicine.
Compensation & Growth
Starting at $27/hour, with opportunities for pay increases every six months during your
first 1.5 years as your skills and contributions grow.
Summit also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health
insurance with an employer contribution, PTO, 401(k) with company match, Fear
Free Certification, employee pet benefits, and reimbursement for Virginia
licensure.
Most importantly, Summit has created a professional development
program for its LVTs, giving technicians a clear path to grow their skills
and advance within the practice.

respected, your skills are utilized, and your growth is encouraged, Summit
Veterinary Care may be your unicorn practice.
