Vice President of Finance
Position Summary
The Vice President of Finance is a strategic executive leader responsible for overseeing the financial health, stability, and long-term growth of the organization. This role leads all financial functions, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, risk management, and compliance.
As a key advisor to the CEO and executive team, the VP of Finance provides data-driven insights to guide business decisions, improve operational performance, and support organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and oversight of all financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, and regulatory filings
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), treasury, and compliance functions
- Analyze financial performance by comparing projections to actual results and recommend adjustments as needed
- Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning, business growth, and operational priorities
- Evaluate financial and operational processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability
- Monitor economic trends and assess their impact on company performance and growth opportunities
- Identify and support expansion opportunities, including new products or markets
- Manage relationships with external partners, including auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies
- Oversee capital strategy, including investment of funds and potential fundraising initiatives
- Provide financial oversight and insight related to self-insured health plans
- Lead and support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the CEO
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships to support business objectives and company growth
- Ensure professionalism, accountability, and alignment with company values at all times
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred
- CPA certification strongly preferred
- 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting leadership roles
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making through financial insight
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience building relationships across all levels of an organization

Salary : $160,000 - $200,000
