Loan Booking / Risk Management Specialist
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $30.22/hr W2
Work Location: 800 Market St, Saint Louis, MO 63101
Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site — No Remote Option
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Parking & Transportation
- Stadium West Parking Garage: $10/day
- Public transportation is available as an alternative to garage parking.
Job Summary
The role is primarily responsible for risk management and loan booking accuracy by reviewing data elements on credit approvals and loan documentation during the financial and collateral booking process.
The successful candidate will accurately book loans into the system of record while working at a high pace and independently managing multiple tasks. The role requires careful review of loan documents and credit approvals, accurate data entry into the loan system, and timely completion of work to meet established turnaround times.
The position will also provide expertise to support effective risk management and ensure compliance with applicable Federal Regulations, including Flood-related requirements, Regulation W, Regulation Z, and other applicable regulations.
The candidate will collaborate with Loan Administration Specialists, Quality Assurance teams, and Market Leaders to drive booking accuracy and consistency while maintaining acceptable accuracy levels across all measurable categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Review credit approvals and loan documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Review data elements related to financial and collateral booking.
- Accurately book loans into the system of record.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in the loan system.
- Work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Complete assigned tasks within required turnaround times.
- Identify and mitigate potential risk through detailed review processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Federal Regulations, including:
- Flood-related requirements
- Regulation W
- Regulation Z
- Other applicable regulations
- Partner with Loan Administration Specialists, Quality Assurance teams, and Market Leaders.
- Support consistent and accurate loan booking processes.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy across all assigned responsibilities.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively while working under time constraints.
Required Skills
- Prior knowledge of consumer and/or commercial loan documentation
- Previous Loan IQ experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work effectively and lead within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- PC proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and time constraints
Required Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant experience
Ideal Candidate Profile
The strongest candidates will have hands-on Loan IQ experience, solid knowledge of consumer or commercial lending documentation, strong attention to detail, and experience working in a loan booking, loan operations, credit administration, or related financial-services environment.
