Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure overall safety.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist with conflict management by calmly addressing disputes or disturbances to de-escalate situations effectively.
Requirements
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred to handle medical emergencies confidently.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with security protocols and experience in conflict resolution or law enforcement is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts.
