π» Client Technologies Technician - Entry (One-Year Renewable Contract)
We are seeking a dedicated Client Technologies Technician - Entry to provide technical support and management for end-user computing devices. This role involves assisting with the installation, deployment, maintenance, and proper usage of desktops, laptops, tablets, and associated equipment under the general guidance of IT management.
Contract and Location
- Contract Type: This is a one-year contract position from the projected start date, with the possibility of renewal.
- Work Location: This role is fully onsite at the client's facility in Columbia. Remote work is not available.
- Residency Requirement: Candidates must be a resident or willing to relocate to Columbia at their own expense prior to the start date.
- Physical Requirements: The position requires individuals to be comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, including the ability to move and lift equipment up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Required Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess the following specific skills and experience:
- Four (4) or more years of experience in desktop and networked systems support, including extensive knowledge of desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and scanners.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in computer deployments, operation, and repair.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in hardware and software installation.
- Two (2) or more years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
- Experience supporting the Microsoft Office Suite (Edge Browser, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Expertise in supporting Microsoft Windows.
Minimum Educational Requirement
- A High School diploma is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for required work experience.
Preferred Requirements
Candidates with the following experience are highly preferred:
- Experience working with a help desk ticketing system.
- Experience with the NTS Network.
- Experience with Active Directory or InTune.
