Western Coating's Operations department, seeks a knowledgeable and dependable individual to join their team as Operations Manager I. In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance to the overall safety and operation of all warehouse activities, inventory management, and machinery maintenance.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Recognition, knowledge and understanding of various coating specifications, steel grades, material properties specific to Western Coating product line.
Management of all facility production operations including raw material receiving, warehousing, & delivery.
Coordinating logistics including company owned tractors, trailers and any third-party haulage.
Collaboration with Sales to achieve efficient production levels.
Training, Development and Coaching of production employees.
Applying Lean principles through continuous improvement.
Promoting and facilitating timely communication with internal and external customers and between shop fabrication, field placing, detailing, and project coordination.
Ensuring safe work practices are implemented and observed by all employees and/or non-employees at all times while inside the production premises.
