BAE Systems is seeking a diligent and proactive individual with a proven high quality work ethic to fill a mid-level position (Government Property Management Specialist, Sr) to support administrative tasks of the United States Air Force (USAF) Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Infrastructure & Equipment Branch.
The overarching role of the Government Property manager is to work closely with the customer, the United States Air Force (USAF), to apply Facility management support and Information Technology support requirements.
This position focuses on working with the members of the Infrastructure Branch. Involving the government's IT environment, help desk and technical troubleshooting, Customer Service, manage the Infrastructure facility, and maintain all associated documentation. This is an exciting opportunity to support one of the primer Program Office branches!
Possess familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD), instructions, Air Force instructions, and local operating instructions regarding Information Technology and Facility Management. Be familiar with Air Force network policies and develop/review facility maintenance, construction, and/or renovations to include necessary documentation. Requires a motivated employee's ability to multi-task in an array of IT/Facility operations.
Possible Job responsibilities include the following:
Exceptional communication skills
Effectively diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide range of technical problems, (systems, hardware, software)
Actively collaborate with government IT personnel (base Comm and/or AFNWC IT)
Adhere to all government IT system rules and regulations, to include cyber security
Mange and sustain unit's Share Point site and/or other collaboration portals
Communicate with leadership and customer on all project managed resources available to achieve on-time submissions
Strictly enforce DoD policies regarding removable media on government systems
Maintain inventory of government provided VoIP telephones and associated accounts
Provide on-site support services for facilities managed by the Infrastructure Branch
Coordinate with host wing Civil Engineering for facility issues
Must be willing to travel
