What You’ll Do
Strategic Planning & Implementation:
- Lead the development and execution of SAP PP/QM strategies that align with business goals and industry standards.
- Conduct gap analyses and business blueprinting to define and implement optimized SAP processes.
- Define and document new business processes to support production planning, quality assurance, and plant maintenance operations.
- Analyze, design, configure, and deploy SAP solutions within PP, QM, MM, and Supplier Quality modules.
- Oversee full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and enhancements of SAP S/4HANA and related technologies.
- Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, WM/EWM, FI/CO) and third-party systems such as MES.
- Manage timelines, risks, and deliverables for SAP-related projects while communicating status updates to leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand production, quality, and maintenance requirements.
- Develop strategies to optimize shop floor scheduling, inspection routines, and asset management workflows.
- Configure SAP PP/QM systems to support MRP, capacity planning, process orders, and quality inspections.
- Ensure system configurations meet business performance expectations and compliance standards.
- Provide Level 2 and 3 support for SAP PP/QM-related incidents and system troubleshooting.
- Lead training sessions for end-users and business stakeholders on SAP features and updates.
- Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, business processes, and custom developments.
- Mentor junior consultants and guide project teams in delivering high-quality SAP solutions.
- Monitor performance and ensure timely resolution of issues in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the PP/QM functional area and serve as a liaison between business and IT teams.
- Stay current with SAP advancements, particularly in S/4HANA, Fiori apps, and the Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Leverage emerging technologies (IoT, AI, ML) to extend and optimize SAP functionalities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, monitor KPIs, and execute root cause analyses to resolve recurring issues.
- Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment.
- Collaborate across functions—including production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and IT—to ensure project success.
- Represent the PP/QM domain with confidence and clarity in internal meetings and vendor discussions.

Requirements
- Must have served in the U.S. Armed Forces (active duty, reserves, or guard).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP PP and QM modules, including configuration and ongoing support.
- Experience with at least two full-cycle SAP implementations and system upgrades.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, quality, and maintenance processes in industries like automotive, EV, or FMCG.
- Proficient in SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps.
- Expertise in integration points across SAP modules: MM, SD, WM/EWM, FI/CO.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, analytics tools, and interface technologies (IDocs, BAPIs).
- Excellent problem-solving organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex SAP topics to diverse audiences.
- Leadership and mentorship capabilities with a track record of guiding successful project teams.
- Project management experience in enterprise SAP environments.
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Production Planning or Quality Management.
- PMP or Agile certifications.
- ITIL, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement credentials.
