MISSION
To support American manufacturing by safely and accurately cutting precision tool steel plates for custom industrial applications across aerospace, defense, firearms, automotive, and tool & die industries. This role directly contributes to customer satisfaction, inventory accountability, and operational excellence.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Within the first 30–90 days, the successful candidate will:
- Operate a 26-foot CNC burn table to process customer-specific steel orders (up to 96” x 240”, ⅝”–6” thickness).
- Execute first-echelon troubleshooting and basic maintenance on the machine as needed.
- Ensure proper handling, tagging, and reintegration of reusable remnants into inventory, and proper disposal of scrap.
- Complete all burn orders with zero defects and meet daily output expectations on second shift.
- Support inventory control by accurately logging material movement and minimizing material loss.
- Collaborate with a tight-knit 4-person shift team and maintain a strong safety and accountability culture.

Requirements
Required
- Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.5 years of experience in operations, production, or logistics leadership.
- Basic computer skills and comfort operating technology
- Ability to read and follow work orders and diagrams
- Mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a steel processing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Any MOS with hands-on equipment ops or material handling
- Forklift experience or overhead crane familiarity
- Previous CNC or burn table operation a plus, but not required (training provided)
