Position Details
Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Status: Part-time (24–30 hours/week)
Salary: $17 - $23 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Rotating Saturday shifts; no nights or holidays

Veterinary Receptionist Duties
- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Answer and route phone calls promptly and accurately
- Schedule appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits
- Maintain accurate client and patient records in the practice management software
- Process payments and balance the cash drawer daily
- Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth patient flow
- Handle prescription refill requests and relay accurate information
- Educate clients on preventive care, products, and services when appropriate
- Assist in managing the lobby environment to keep it calm, clean, and organized
- Support the team with general administrative and clerical tasks as needed
