What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Northeast Veterinary Hospital?
Come join our friendly team! Veterinary Receptionists are the first staff members that our clients interact with. We look for caring, enthusiastic applicants who are conscientious and are excellent team players. Candidates should have an outgoing personality, have a pleasant phone and customer demeanor, be comfortable working with computers and office equipment, and be able to multi-task. Responsibilities include meeting and greeting clients and their pets, answering phones and scheduling appointments, preparing and maintaining patient records, processing purchases and payments, general office and patient room cleanliness, and helping clients carry food bags and pet carriers. Receptionists should also be able to respond to basic medical inquiries from clients and know how to route these inquires to technicians and doctors appropriately. PT/FT benefits include sick time pay, veterinary discounts, profit sharing, 401K, and additionally vacation, health insurance and holiday pay for FT positions.
