• Schedule: 4- or 5-day workweeks. Rotating Saturdays.

Winsted Hospital for Animals (WHFA) is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

• Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client questions and requests
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments
• Assist clients and patients with the check-in and check-out process
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records
• Manage prescription refill requests according to hospital protocols
• Relay messages and client concerns to veterinarians and medical team members
• Provide clients with accurate information regarding hospital services, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate communication between clients and the medical team
• Support daily hospital operations and help maintain an efficient workflow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Provide exceptional customer service during both routine and emotionally challenging situations

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring

• Previous veterinary reception, medical reception, or customer service experience is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
