POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in a veterinary setting is required
- 1 year of Veterinary Assistant experience
- Good communication skills
- Be able to manage stressful situations
- Must work well with others
- Adapt to changing environments
- Punctuality
- Good judgment
- Positive and warm personality
- Assist veterinarians during appointments, surgeries, and other medical procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, and record vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing
- Clean and maintain medical equipment and exam rooms
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients
- Completion of related education and training when assigned
- May have shared or rotating responsibilities on weekends and/or holidays
- Other duties as assigned
