Vestiya is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant to join the team at its brand new, 341-unit Class-A apartment community in Downtown Cincinnati.

The Role:
The will help showcase our newest Class-A multifamily community, a storied Downtown Cincinnati landmark that has been transformed into 341 contemporary residences, to effectively lease available apartments. The successful candidate will respond to leasing leads, set appointments, conduct property tours, close leases, and ensure rent- and show-readiness of apartment homes. The Leasing Consultant will collaborate with management to create effective marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct property leasing tours with prospective tenants.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, including use of internet listing services and market competition analyses, in collaboration with Management.
- Engage proactively with residents and respond to tenant concerns in a timely and professional manner to foster a positive community atmosphere.
- Ensure compliance with the Fair Housing Act.
- Perform regular unit inspections to ensure rent ready status.
- Willingness to work select Saturdays as needed during lease up and/or peak leasing seasons, as part of team rotation.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management or leasing role within the multifamily, hotel, hospitality, or retail industries.
- High school degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s or associate degree in property management, real estate, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of adhering to applicable federal, state, and city regulations involving Fair Housing, health and safety policies and procedures, and other aspects of residential, multi-family property management.
- Proficiency in Yardi (or similar property management software), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant industry software.
- Strong leasing, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass comprehensive background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move around the property and occasionally lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work under various outdoor weather conditions.
- Capability to perform tasks requiring physical movement, including moving inside the office to access different areas and equipment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- This position is entitled to both a base salary and substantial commission potential:
- Base Salary: $35,000 per year
- Leasing Commissions: $500 per lease
- Estimated Earning Potential: $70,000 to $80,000 total compensation, dependent upon performance
