What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant First Shift - Rotomold Trimer position at Vestil Manufacturing Corporation?
Production Hours Monday - Friday
Trimming and finishing of roto-molded parts
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize grinder (scrap reduction)
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be able to read blue prints to check parts to print
- Must be able to troubleshoot when errors occur using blue prints
- Multi-tasking and following operating procedures
- Be aware of moving objects in and around your work area
- Follow health and safety guidelines specific to Roto-molding materials and equipment
- Must be able to use hand tools to trim and finish parts
- Must be able to keep a clean and organized area

Tool/Machine/Technology Requirements:
- Prior experience in plastics is desired- please note any experience on your application
- Fork truck operation
- Hoist operation using chains, slings, clamps, vacuum suction
- Must be able to safely use basic hand tools, electric and pneumatic power tools
- Use of caliper, tape-measure for part inspection
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat repetitively throughout work day
- Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
- See and hear within reasonably acceptable limits, this includes the ability to see at a distance and peripherally
- Use time management skills and prioritization to accomplish the day's tasks in the hours provided
- Must be self-motivated as much of the day is unsupervised
- This is a 40 hour per week position and may require mandatory overtime hour
- Must be 18 years of age or older
