What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant First Shift - Order Picker position at Vestil Manufacturing Corporation?
Production Hours Monday - Friday
Pick product from the V4 warehouse for orders, stage completed picks in the LTL or UPS area (for packaging).
Job Responsibilities:
- Pull product form open stock inventory for LTL and UPS orders
- Stage picked product either in the UPS or LTL staging area
*This position is not limited to the responsibilities listed above*
Job Requirements:
- Handheld computer/tablet (Android based)
- Basic computer and math skills
- Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
- Use time management skills and prioritization to accomplish the day’s tasks in the hours provided
- Must be able to walk on average 12,000 steps per day
- Must be self-motivated as much of the day is unsupervised
- This is a 40 hour per week position and may require mandatory overtime hours
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Frequent bending, twisting, and squatting
- See and hear within reasonably acceptable limits, this includes the ability to see at a distance and peripherally
