JOB SUMMARY: Your Flight Plan!
The Zone Accounting Manager is an experienced financial professional who will be responsible for assisting the Zone Leaders as well as the General Managers and area accountants within the zone. This includes a multitude of accounting-related tasks, including annual budgeting and monthly reporting, quarterly and annual information to Zone Leaders. This position also may include assisting in the hiring and training within their zone
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ready to Fly!
- Assisting the Zone Leaders and GMs in hiring for accounting positions – including participating in the interview process.
- Guide Zone Leader and General Manager on accounting staff including respective competency levels and operational/accounting proficiency.
- Fills in when there is an open accounting-related position.
- Assist in the Zone budgeting process.
- Works with a variety of software including Excel, Strongroom, and NetSuite Support.
- Provide updates and recommendations to the Zone Leader.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are being followed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Wingspan Needed!
- 5 years accounting experience
- 2 years management or supervisory experience
- Experience with the preparation of financial reports, budget preparation, and full-cycle accounting
- Experience with data management and facilitating internal and external audits
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- NetSuite and Paycom experience preferred
- Occasional travel may be required

- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
