The Assistant Manager is a hands-on, highly visible role responsible for supporting smooth daily operations and delivering a positive resident experience across community spaces and services.

While classified internally as an Assistant Manager, this position functions as the operational support partner to the General Manager/Senior Leadership and is primarily focused on executing established procedures, coordinating amenity services, assisting with clubhouse staff scheduling, and supporting community events and resident activities. This is an execution-focused role that operates under the direction of the General Manager, with major operational, financial, and personnel decisions remaining the responsibility of the General Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ready to Fly!

 

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the community and amenities, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and service standards are maintained.
  • Support the General Manager/senior leadership in achieving resident and operational satisfaction goals through proactive communication, responsive service delivery, and consistent execution of community standards.
  • Provide on-site operational support and serve as a point of contact for routine matters in the absence of the General Manager/Senior leadership, following established procedures and communicating significant issues as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and facilitate resident onboarding, including move-in documentation, orientation to community policies and amenities, and helping ensure a smooth and welcoming transition into the community.
  • Coordinate and support clubhouse staff, including scheduling, daily task direction, and service standards, while communicating staffing needs or performance concerns to the General Manager.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of resident events, including vendor communication, event setup, promotional outreach, and on-site support to ensure a positive and engaging experience for residents.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs and visual inspections of the community and amenity spaces to help ensure cleanliness, organization, safety, and overall presentation standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and service providers to help ensure work orders and service requests are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with preparing reports, tracking information, and maintaining documentation to support operational oversight and management review.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents by addressing routine concerns, providing assistance, and supporting prompt and
  • professional resolution of issues.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism in all interactions with Board members, residents, vendors, and team members, demonstrating courtesy, discretion, and respect at all times.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Wingspan Needed!

 

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in property management, leasing, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Occasional travel may be required

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Our Nest is your Nest!

 

  • Primarily sedentary while performing administrative and office tasks, with frequent periods of standing, walking, and moving throughout the community or facility, if applicable.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25–30 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to navigate stairs, community grounds, and common areas as needed.
  • May require occasional evening, weekend, or special event participation to support residents or community programs.
