Role And Responsibilities
The ERP Help Desk Specialist is a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for the successful implementation, ongoing support and continuous improvement of ERP systems across the Vessco Water family of companies. Serving as a primary point of contact for system users, this role plays a critical part in user support, training and system adoption.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Provide timely, professional technical support for ERP applications and related business processes.
- Receive, review, track, and help prioritize Help Desk requests using ConnectWise.
- Monitor ERP system health and performance daily.
- Respond promptly to system security, access, and usability issues.
- Support operational data integrity through regular review, cleanup, and remediation in collaboration with platform companies.
- Maintain and support group-level customer, vendor, and inventory master data.
- Support and troubleshoot additional enterprise applications and systems as the business grows and new technologies are introduced.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support system success and organizational goals.
- Associate’s degree, preferably in Business Management, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ERP administration or support.
- General knowledge of ERP and/or CRM systems and how they support functional areas such as Accounting, Order Management, Sales, Inventory, Warehouse, and Reporting.
- Strong communication and coaching skills; with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and geographically distributed locations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in both business and technical terms, adapting to the audience.
- Strong follow‑up and follow‑through skills with a high sense of accountability.
- A customer‑service mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks, users, and time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with Global Shop Solutions, Epicor P-21, Acumatica, Business Central and/or other ERP systems.
