Company: Vesper
Reports to: Founder & President
Location: Bozeman, Montana — on-site
Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 base salary, with performance-based upside
Role type: Full-time
About VesperVesper is building the operating system for Industrial Mobility Infrastructure—the physical spaces and assets that keep enterprise fleets and transportation networks moving. We help large organizations plan, secure, administer, and optimize infrastructure such as fleet parking, charging, staging, outdoor storage, and related operational real estate.
Vesper has grown through close enterprise partnerships and a proven infrastructure-services business. We are now entering our next stage: establishing Industrial Mobility Infrastructure as a recognizable category, completing the rollout of a new brand and website, and building a consistent marketing engine around the company, product, and founder.
The RoleVesper is hiring a hands-on Director of Marketing to own and execute our core marketing efforts during a high-growth stage of the company.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bozeman, Montana. The person in this position will work closely with Vesper's founder and internal team from our Bozeman office; it is not a remote or hybrid position.
This is not a role for someone who wants to manage a large internal team or direct strategy from a distance. It is a builder role for a strong marketer who can move between positioning, writing, AI-assisted website execution, LinkedIn content, campaign management, and performance analysis. You will inherit substantial brand, messaging, product-design, and website work already underway and will be responsible for turning those assets into a cohesive, consistently executed marketing system.
Your first priorities will be completing and launching Vesper's website redesign, building and maintaining our LinkedIn strategy across the company and founder channels, and overseeing the agencies or contractors managing Google and LinkedIn advertising.
What You Will OwnWebsite redesign and digital presence- Take direct ownership of the active Vesper website redesign and carry it through final production, quality assurance, launch, and ongoing improvement without relying on a dedicated designer, developer, or outside web contractor.
- Use AI-powered design, development, copywriting, image, prototyping, and quality-assurance tools to perform work that would traditionally be divided across creative and technical specialists.
- Work confidently within modern no-code or low-code website platforms, making hands-on updates to page structure, copy, visual presentation, responsive behavior, forms, analytics, SEO fundamentals, and conversion paths.
- Evaluate AI-generated work critically, maintaining strong standards for brand consistency, usability, technical performance, accessibility, and accuracy rather than treating AI output as finished work.
- Identify the limited situations where specialized outside expertise is genuinely necessary, clearly define the scope, and manage that support as an exception rather than the primary operating model.
- Translate Vesper's positioning into clear website architecture, landing pages, product narratives, calls to action, and conversion paths.
- Maintain consistency across the website, sales collateral, product visuals, social content, and paid campaigns.
- Use website and conversion data to identify and prioritize improvements after launch.
- Build and operate an ongoing LinkedIn strategy for both Vesper and its founder.
- Develop a content calendar covering Industrial Mobility Infrastructure, enterprise infrastructure challenges, customer insights, product capabilities, company growth, and founder perspective.
- Interview the founder and internal subject-matter experts and turn conversations, customer observations, and company activity into credible content.
- Draft, edit, schedule, and publish posts while preserving distinct but connected founder and company voices.
- Repurpose longer-form research, case studies, product updates, customer conversations, and marketing collateral into posts, carousels, short videos, and campaigns.
- Monitor performance and use engagement, audience quality, and downstream business activity to improve the strategy.
- Protect and strengthen Vesper's visual identity, messaging, and emerging category narrative.
- Help define how Vesper communicates Industrial Mobility Infrastructure to enterprise real estate, fleet, operations, facilities, finance, and supply-chain leaders.
- Create or coordinate high-quality case studies, sales materials, campaign assets, company announcements, email content, and thought-leadership materials.
- Build practical messaging and content standards that internal team members and external partners can follow.
- Use AI-assisted tools thoughtfully to increase research and production speed without sacrificing judgment, originality, or the founder's authentic voice.
- Own the business strategy, goals, budget accountability, and reporting for Google and LinkedIn paid media.
- Manage the agency or contractors responsible for campaign setup, execution, and optimization.
- Provide clear audience, offer, messaging, creative, and landing-page direction.
- Review campaign performance regularly and hold external partners accountable for lead quality, conversion, cost, attribution, and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure paid campaigns support Vesper's enterprise sales priorities rather than operating as an isolated marketing activity.
- Establish a practical marketing calendar, operating cadence, budget, and reporting structure.
- Define and monitor the metrics that matter at Vesper's current stage, including qualified engagement, target-account reach, website conversion, qualified pipeline contribution, campaign efficiency, and content performance.
- Maintain clean campaign tracking, basic attribution, and coordination with CRM and sales activity.
- Recommend the tools, contractors, and investments required as the marketing function grows.
- Report clearly to the founder on progress, results, lessons, and upcoming priorities.
- Assume full ownership of the website-redesign plan, close remaining gaps, and establish a firm launch path.
- Audit existing brand, website, social, content, analytics, CRM, and paid-media assets.
- Launch a consistent founder and company LinkedIn calendar with clear content pillars and approval workflows.
- Establish operating expectations and performance reporting with paid-media partners.
- Implement a concise marketing dashboard and monthly review cadence.
- Launch the redesigned Vesper website with clear positioning, conversion paths, analytics, and supporting campaigns.
- Build a reliable LinkedIn publishing engine that produces consistent, high-quality content without depending on last-minute founder involvement.
- Demonstrate measurable growth in relevant audience reach, engagement from target accounts, website activity, and qualified business conversations.
- Create an integrated library of reusable content, case studies, sales collateral, and campaign assets.
- Produce clear evidence about which messages, audiences, channels, and paid investments are creating business value.
- Establish Vesper as a credible voice in Industrial Mobility Infrastructure.
- Build a repeatable marketing operating system that can support additional team members, agencies, campaigns, and product growth.
- Show defensible marketing contribution to enterprise awareness, qualified pipeline, customer expansion, and category leadership.
- Approximately 5–7 years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, ideally within SaaS, technology-enabled services, commercial real estate, logistics, transportation, fleet, infrastructure, or another complex enterprise category.
- Experience operating as a hands-on marketing lead, senior manager, or early marketing hire in a startup or growth-stage company.
- Demonstrated ownership of a website redesign or major website launch involving messaging, design, development, analytics, and conversion strategy.
- Strong writing and editorial judgment, particularly for executive or founder-led LinkedIn content and complex B2B value propositions.
- Experience building and maintaining an organic social strategy, with meaningful LinkedIn experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI and no-code tools to independently execute high-quality marketing work across web design, development, content, creative production, and analysis.
- Experience managing paid-media agencies or other specialized external partners against defined scopes, timelines, budgets, and performance goals.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, including the ability to challenge agency recommendations and interpret campaign economics.
- Fluency with marketing analytics, CRM and marketing-automation tools, website analytics, and campaign tracking. Experience with HubSpot or a comparable platform is preferred.
- Ability to manage strategy and execution simultaneously in an environment where priorities move quickly and processes are still being built.
- Ability and willingness to work on-site full-time in Bozeman, Montana.
- A portfolio or examples demonstrating website, positioning, content, campaign, or founder-brand work.
