Location: Oklahoma City, Elk City, Watonga & Surrounding Northwest Region
Service Technician / Field Service Technician / Gas Compression Technician is required to support a fast-growing operation servicing natural gas compression assets across Oklahoma City and the wider northwest region. This area operates on a local, fully remote model, where technicians work directly from home with a company-provided service truck stocked for field calls.
This role suits candidates with experience in natural gas compression or mechanically strong technicians from diesel, heavy equipment, power generation, or automotive backgrounds who can operate independently across a wide geographic territory.

Package
- $35–$50 per hour (experience-dependent)
- Local territory
- Fully remote role
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week & after 12 hours per day
- Company service truck provided & fully stocked
Service Technician / Field Service Technician / Gas Compression Technician
Role
- Deliver mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of natural gas compression equipment across the Oklahoma City, Elk City, Watonga, and northwest Oklahoma region.
- Work on Caterpillar & Waukesha engines and Ariel & Gemini compressors, including diagnostics, adjustments, and component repairs.
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance, commissioning support, and field service with minimal supervision.
- Operate remotely from home—no requirement to report to a physical shop.
- Travel directly to well sites using a company-provided service truck stocked with parts and tools.
- Support safe field operations with adherence to daily hour limitations and site procedures.
Service Technician / Field Service Technician / Gas Compression Technician Requirements
- Experience with natural gas compression preferred, including engine/compressor troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Caterpillar/Waukesha engines and Ariel/Gemini compressors is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to work independently in remote or rural field environments.
- Strong mechanical background—transferable skills welcomed from:
- Diesel mechanics
- Heavy equipment technicians
- Automotive technicians
- Power generation technicians
