Sales Manager / Sales Engineer
Location: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Base Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager / Sales Engineer to join a highly regarded manufacturer of industrial machinery and capital equipment. This role will lead North American sales strategy, manage key customer relationships, and oversee a small team of Sales Engineers.
Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Responsibilities:
- Travel across the US to manage and grow key customer relationships.
- Lead and mentor a small team of Sales Engineers, set performance targets, and support career development.
- Recommend and provide technical machining solutions, services and parts to key customers.
- Monitor competitor activity, analyze market trends, and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Develop and execute sales plans, manage budgets, and provide regular performance and market updates to senior management.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are delivered successfully.
Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements:
- Proven experience selling industrial machinery or capital equipment, a background working with CNC machines or machine tools is desirable.
- You must have a technical background in an engineering or manufacturing discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, CNC machining / CNC Programming or similar.
- Track record of building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Experience managing a sales team is desirable however we are also open to applications from people who have been in a technical sales role and are looking to move into a management position.
- Willingness to travel across the US as needed to support key customers.
- Located in a commutable distance to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
