Aftermarket Sales Engineer / Aftermarket Sales Representative / Aftermarket Sales required to join a leading provider of commercial and industrial heating solutions. Specializing in boilers, controls, pumps, and integrated heating systems, the company delivers high-performance solutions to the New York metropolitan market.
The successful Aftermarket Sales Engineer / Aftermarket Sales Representative / Aftermarket Sales will act as the technical bridge between our field technicians and our clients, turning on-site challenges into comprehensive service upgrades and repair contracts.
The ideal Aftermarket Sales Engineer / Aftermarket Sales Representative / Aftermarket Sales will possess the ability to effectively communicate with industrial clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams. They will be capable of independently performing tasks both in an office setting and on-site, ensuring the efficient integration of service solutions and project execution.

Aftermarket Sales Engineer / Aftermarket Sales Representative / Aftermarket Sales Responsibilities:
- Assess field service opportunities and develop tailored mechanical and electrical service solutions. Must be proficient in reading mechanical schematics and electrical diagrams to provide accurate repair and upgrade estimates.
- Collaborate with field technicians and boiler cleaning teams to quickly generate manufacturer-approved quotes during on-site visits.
- Manage extended sales cycles by emphasizing the Total Cost of Ownership, helping clients grasp the long-term benefits of premium service offerings.
- Seek out new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients, including negotiating intricate service contracts and ongoing maintenance agreements.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from initial lead reception to placing orders with suppliers, working closely with the Service Scheduling team to ensure smooth execution.
- Identify new opportunities for boiler sales and work with the capital equipment team to pass on relevant leads while managing larger-scale projects with internal Project Management.
Aftermarket Sales Engineer / Aftermarket Sales Representative / Aftermarket Sales Requirements:
- A BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial technical sales, with a preference for background in boiler systems or aftermarket industrial products.
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, as well as technical specifications.
- Proficient in CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and MS Office (Excel/Word).
- Experience in industrial estimating, billing, and safeguarding profit margins.
- A customer-focused problem solver with excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
