As the primary interface between the Americas Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and Global Offering, this role is responsible for pipeline growth, margin expansion, pricing strategy, and new product introduction success. The position combines product lifecycle leadership, market and customer intelligence, and regional P&L influence, while serving as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Lifecycle Ownership
- Own the regional product strategy and lifecycle for Software & Controls solutions across the Americas, from concept and business case through launch, growth, and optimization.
- Translate regional customer requirements and market dynamics into clear product requirements and roadmap inputs for global Software & Controls teams.
- Lead regional input into NPDI and PLM processes, ensuring solutions are scalable, differentiated, and commercially viable.
- Drive visibility and accountability for pipeline, orders, sales, and margin performance related to Software & Controls offerings in the Americas.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Product Lines to lead pricing strategies, value engineering (VAVE), cost-out initiatives, and margin improvement actions.
- Track post-launch performance of new software and controls offerings, including adoption, attach rates, and revenue realization.
- Serve as the single source of truth for Americas market intelligence related to Software & Controls, including customer needs, demand drivers, and competitive positioning.
- Collect and synthesize voice-of-customer input from key accounts, partners, and regional sales teams.
- Identify emerging opportunities tied to data centers, AI, cloud, colocation, industrial, and electrification markets.
- Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, and Technical Sales/Application Engineering to ensure effective sales enablement, configuration tools, value messaging, and solution positioning.
- Support major pursuits and strategic customers by acting as a trusted technical and commercial advisor.
- Ensure Software & Controls offerings integrate effectively into regional partner and channel business models.
- Act as a regional leader for Software & Controls, aligning stakeholders across Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Sales.
- Influence without direct authority in a matrixed global organization, ensuring Americas priorities are clearly represented.
- Contribute to regional and global strategic planning cycles and executive reviews.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in product management, product strategy, technical sales, business strategy, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience with software platforms, controls systems, digital power management, or automation solutions.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to act as a “CEO mindset” owner for assigned product areas.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
- Experience translating technical capabilities into customer value propositions.
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable engaging with customers and executives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (MBA or Engineering).
- Experience with SCADA, EPMS, BMS, digital twins, configuration software, or embedded controls.
- Background in data center, critical infrastructure, or industrial power markets.
- Experience supporting global product roadmaps from a regional leadership role.
