Job Summary

The Organizational Change Management Sr. Manager supports the strategy, design, launch, governance, and execution of a Center of Expertise to support priority change initiatives across Vertiv establishing scalable frameworks, standards, and tools that enable sustainable transformation outcomes. This role also leads the support of prioritized large-scale IT and enterprise transformation programs, accountable for driving adoption, organizational readiness, and measurable value realization across complex, global initiatives aligned to Vertiv’s strategic growth objectives.

Reporting to the Vice President, Organizational Change, this role serves as a strategic advisor Vertiv leadership and key cross-functional stakeholders. The Senior Manager oversees a portfolio of change initiatives.  

Key partnerships include ELT, IT, Global Process Owners, Sales, HR, Growth & Strategy, Finance, and other enterprise functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Change Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness
    • Lead the development and execution of change strategies aligned to CIO and enterprise transformation priorities
    • Design and implement an organizational effectiveness framework supporting the IT organization, including:
      • Communications strategy
      • Leadership alignment (vision, behaviors, teaming)
      • Organizational design and operating model alignment
      • Partnership with HR on employee experience initiatives (leadership development, engagement surveys, talent management, succession planning)
    • Conduct organizational impact and readiness assessments for large-scale initiatives
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on adoption risk, stakeholder alignment, and change prioritization
  • Change Management Center of Expertise (CoE)
    • Design, launch, and lead the Organizational Change Management CoE
    • Establish governance, methodologies, playbooks, templates, and tools to ensure consistent change execution
    • Build organizational change capability through structured training and enablement programs
    • Foster digital collaboration and effective adoption of new tools and ways of working.
       
  • Portfolio & Program Leadership
    • Lead and oversee change management delivery across a portfolio of complex, global IT initiatives (e.g., ERP programs, AI initiatives, digital transformations, operating model shifts)
    • Partner with Portfolio Management to manage intake, prioritization, and value realization of change efforts
    • Identify interdependencies and mitigate change saturation across concurrent initiatives
    • Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure successful adoption and sustainment outcomes
       
  • Adoption, Metrics & Value Realization
    • Develop KPIs and value-based metrics to measure adoption, readiness, engagement, and business impact
    • Establish reporting mechanisms to monitor progress and inform executive decision-making
    • Leverage analytics and feedback loops to continuously improve change strategies and outcomes
       
  • Leadership & Advisory
    • Lead and develop Managers and Project Coordinators within the Organizational Change function
    • Provide strategic advisory and executive coaching to leaders navigating transformation
    • Act as a steward for change by reinforcing desired behaviors, accountabilities, and role clarity across IT
    • Challenge and influence organizational alignment to ensure the right roles, capabilities, and talent are in place to support transformation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Organizational Development or related field required
  • Master’s degree om Business Administrations, Industrial/Org Psychology or related preferred
  • 10–12 years of progressive experience in organizational change, transformation, or organizational effectiveness roles
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale, complex, global transformation initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
  • Proven ability to navigate digital transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience influencing executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience leading professional teams and building functional capability
  • Consulting background supporting transformation initiatives preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:
    • Advanced expertise in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, and other frameworks)
    • Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or related process improvement frameworks
    • Strong executive presence and facilitation capability
    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Ability to operate effectively across cultures, regions, and organizational boundaries
    • Experience leveraging analytics and data-driven insights to measure impact and guide strategy
    • Certifications in change management (Prosci or similar), project management (PMP), or process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) are highly desirable
    • Experience navigating a global organization
