Laser General Operator 2nd Shift

Position Overview ● Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines (e.g., fiber or CO₂ lasers) to cut sheet metal components. ● Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. ● Load and unload raw materials (sheet metal) onto the laser bed. ● Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency. ● Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure specifications are met. ● Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laser equipment ● Adjust machine settings such as speed, power, and focus to optimize cutting performance. ● Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards. ● Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times. ● Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals.
