Join our dynamic Exercise therapy team as an Exercise Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in supporting patients' journey toward improved independence and well-being.
You will be specifically using the ARCex external stimulation pro device with most or all of our clientele (initially).
This is a travel position. You will be required to travel to clients homes to conduct ALL therapy sessions.

Duties
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) through the use of therapy programming.
- Support implementation of individualized care plans developed by occupational therapists, ensuring patient progress
- Provide hands-on therapy activities tailored for various populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and those in acute or outpatient care
- Help monitor patient responses and document progress accurately within medical records
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and strategies to continue progress at home or in community settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, or home health environments to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to healthcare standards and protocols
Qualifications
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from an accredited program is preferred but not required
- Degree in a related field
- 2 years of clinical experience
- CPR/AED certified
- Personal Training experience
- Personal Training certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices
- Experience and knowledge with FES, TENS, NMES and other modalities of stimulation therapy
- Experience assisting with ADLs
- Familiarity with care planning processes and documentation procedures in healthcare environments
- Strong understanding of medical imaging procedures and occupational health principles is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages—including pediatrics—and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Prior experience working with patients in acute care or outpatient settings enhances your candidacy
- Valid drivers license w/insurance
- Reliable vehicle that can carry some pieces of equipment
- Ability to transfer a 200lb client
- Ability to lift 85 lbs from the floor to your waist
Outline
Part-time (22-32 hrs/wk of therapy) in the Puget Sound area
Also, potential in additional client recruitment hours. Pay is DOE (hourly and commission compensation)

Pay: $40-45/hr
Mileage $.725/mile reimbursement (Based on WA state)
Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications
