The Inbound Equipment Sale Representative is responsible for managing all inbound inquiries via phone, email, and online forms. This role focuses on engaging prospective XSERIES customers, driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
This position is based at VSG’s Malta Dynamics facility in Malta, Ohio. This is a fully on-site role, requiring regular in-person presence to support collaboration, training, and operational needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer Engagement: Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and online forms, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
- Sales Development: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, following up until a demonstration is completed or a sale is closed.
- Lead Handoff: Transfer qualified leads to the individual who performed the demonstration after an onsite demonstration is scheduled.
- Customer Support: Manage all XSERIES chat inquiries and handle parts related inquiries. (Chat- Immediately, Parts- 2 months after starting the inbound role).
- Presentations and Demos: Conduct customer presentation via TEAMS calls and perform virtual demonstrations. (Virtual demonstrations within 6 months)
- Sales Recovery: Review and follow up on closed-lost opportunities to re-engage potential customers.
- Field Support: Assist traveling XSERIES team members by handling tasks they cannot manage while on the road.
- Additional Duties: Perform various sales and support-related tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful experience in sales/customer service with Construction, Industrial
and or Equipment products/services
- Experience in workplace safety a plus
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint
- ERP, CRM, and/or other software experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and prompt communication to team members and
prospects
- Ability to effectively present to a group of people
- Ability to quickly learn safety standards and our product offerings.
