ICR Equipment Rental Sales & Supply is seeking a skilled Diesel Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of diesel-powered construction, rental, and industrial equipment. The successful candidate will ensure all equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for customer use while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues on rental and customer-owned equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and fluid inspections.
• Repair and rebuild diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes, steering components, and electrical systems.
• Inspect equipment for safety, operational readiness, and compliance with company standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures using diagnostic tools and service manuals.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, and inspection reports accurately and timely.
• Prepare rental equipment for delivery and return inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Operate forklifts, service trucks, and other shop equipment as required.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting equipment when needed.
• Communicate repair needs and equipment status with management and customers.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training in diesel technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience repairing diesel-powered construction or heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports.
• Experience using computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
