What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Sales Representative position at Vertical Options Elevator Services?
We’re looking for a high-performing sales professional to drive growth in our service division. This role covers everything from prospecting private service agreement customers to winning public works contracts. You’ll manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, relationship building, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and closing.
Elevator Industry Experience is not required for this role. This an excellent "launch pad" position to break into a very lucrative and competitive industry. Sales experience is strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and qualify new leads across private and public sectors
- Build relationships with property managers, facility directors, and government procurement officers
- Develop proposals and bids that are accurate, competitive, and compelling
- Negotiate service agreements and contracts with decision-makers
- Work closely with operations and leadership to transition signed contracts into long-term partnerships
- Track performance metrics and actively work toward sales targets
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales background (B2B preferred), with experience managing a full sales cycle
- Ability to sell in both private and public environments (service contracts, RFPs, government bids)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with executive decision makers
- Highly self-motivated, persistent, and process-driven
- Comfortable with CRM tools, pipeline management, and reporting
