We are seeking a Plant Controller / Financial Business Partner for a diversified industrial client located near Windsor, CT. This position offers strong career growth potential within a growth-focused division of a Fortune 500 organization.
The ideal candidate will have experience partnering closely with operations leadership, along with a proven track record in talent development and coaching within a manufacturing, distribution, or construction environment pref’d. This role requires strong expertise in finance, cost accounting pref’d, timely month-end close, and the coordination and oversight of plant accounting functions, including general accounting, cost accounting, inventory, payroll, AP/AR, and internal controls.
Additional responsibilities include earnings forecasting, profit planning, and strategic financial analysis, as well as supporting and executing strategic initiatives such as capital investments, acquisitions, and restructuring projects. Experience with ERP systems and system integrations highly desired.
Qualifications include a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business req’d, with an advanced degree pref’d and 4 years of experience in areas such as financial analysis and reporting, audit, inventory control, cost reduction initiatives, budget management, and P&L performance tracking. Travel is less than 10%.
