Vertex/Corigo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mandarin Speaking Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operations, and driving continuous improvement in logistics and materials management. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, including receiving and shipping freight, managing inventory and order fulfillment, and developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve warehouse operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities by developing, coordinating, and enforcing operational programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding warehousing, material handling, and shipping by keeping abreast of current legislation.
- Protect warehouse operations and inventory by implementing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Manage inventory levels by performing physical counts and reconciling with data systems.
- Maintain the warehouse’s physical condition by designing and implementing effective layout changes.
- Meet financial goals by preparing and managing the annual budget, scheduling expenses, and analyzing financial variances.
- Fulfill operational needs by scheduling and assigning tasks to employees.
- Support warehouse staff through recruitment, selection, orientation, and training processes.
- Enhance staff performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Fluency in Mandarin is a MUST
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively
- Proficiency with computer systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership and management abilities
- Understanding of safety regulations
- Knowledge of general software applications
Relevant Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations (Required)
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management (Required)
- Strong written communication skills in English (Essential)
- 3-5 years of experience operating forklifts (Preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in packaging (Preferred)
