Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise retail sales teams to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
• Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and stock control to ensure product availability and presentation.
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team performance and product knowledge.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build a motivated and skilled workforce.
• Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and manage store budgets to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Implement pricing strategies, promotional activities, and merchandising plans aligned with company standards.
• Maintain excellent communication with staff and management to foster a positive work environment and ensure operational consistency.
• Utilize management skills to supervise shift schedules, monitor sales performance, and optimize store productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry.
• Strong leadership abilities with previous supervisory or team management experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
• Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, inventory control software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations.
• Knowledge of retail math concepts such as pricing, budgeting, and sales analysis.
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting training sessions.
• Familiarity with operational tasks including payroll processing, bookkeeping, stock management, and merchandising.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently with strong organizational skills and time management capabilities.
