YOUR ROLE
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing customer relationships with automotive OEMs in the United States market. This role coordinates commercial activities, supports pricing and RFQ processes, and ensures alignment between customer expectations and internal manufacturing capabilities such as product engineering, logistics, purchasing and manufacturing areas. The position plays a key role in driving sales growth and long-term partnerships.

YOUR ROLE
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing customer relationships with automotive OEMs in the United States market. This role coordinates commercial activities, supports pricing and RFQ processes, and ensures alignment between customer expectations and internal manufacturing capabilities such as product engineering, logistics, purchasing and manufacturing areas. The position plays a key role in driving sales growth and long-term partnerships.
- Responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of sales processes, from lead generation and customer acquisition to order management and post-sales support
- Lead and manage a team of sales operations professionals, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
- Participate in and contribute to strategic planning sessions related to sales operations, including setting sales goals
- Identify inefficiencies in sales processes, propose and implement solutions for process improvement, and establish best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Responsibility for participating in budget planning and resource allocation discussions related to sales operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial constraints
- Responsibility for conducting regular performance reviews and evaluations of sales operations metrics, team performance, and individual contributions to drive accountability and performance improvement
- Collaborate with senior management to set sales goals, forecast demand, and allocate resources effectively
- Lead and manage day-to-day sales operations activities, including order management and sales forecasting
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to optimize sales processes and customer experiences
- Be a model-training and mentoring a high-performing team of sales operations analysts and specialists
- Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance sales operations efficiency and effectiveness
- Establish best practices and standards for sales operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with company policies
- Support product strategy and customer alignment for Wiring Harness solutions, including electrified powertrain, high-voltage, and hybrid vehicle applications, ensuring technical understanding of product capabilities, financial model, cost drivers, and customer requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field with a solid understanding of automotive manufacturing environments
- Proven experience of a minimum of three years in sales operations, account management, or commercial roles within the automotive industry, preferably supporting OEM customers in the U.S. market
- Strong knowledge of vehicle architecture and applications, preferred on Wiring Harness products, including exposure to electrification platforms such as EV, Hybrid, or High-Voltage systems
- Demonstrated leadership and analytical skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams, sales forecasting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives
- Spanish language skills are preferred
- Ability to work onsite in Troy, MI
- Must be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future
