We are seeking a reliable and motivated Breakfast Cook to join our weekend team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen, preparing high-quality breakfast dishes, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook all breakfast menu items according to restaurant standards
- Set up the breakfast line and prep stations
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and consistently
- Manage timing of orders to ensure prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness of cooking area, equipment, and utensils
- Assist with prep for the following day as needed
- Monitor food inventory and communicate low-stock items to management
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Skills
- Previous experience as a breakfast, line, or short-order cook preferred
- Strong understanding of breakfast menu items (eggs, omelets, pancakes, etc.)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
