The primary function of the Liquids Production Partner is to execute proper mixing per product formulations manufactured in the Liquids Production area, performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for batch production and compounding
- Operates the necessary tools and equipment for mixing batches, such as large capacity mixers, drills, scales, mixing vats, hand tools, etc.
- Ensures accurate weights and measurements of raw material and finished goods
- Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move, or hoist materials to proper departments or areas
- Perform Quality Control Tests on production batches
- Release batch for packaging and assist when necessary
- Assist the Chemist in gathering raw material for lab tests and experiments
- Maintain an acceptable pace of production in order to achieve daily inventory goals
- Practice and adhere to Company protocols for quality control
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area and notifying management of any pertinent safety or product issues
- Observe all safety policies and procedures
- Participating in inventory counts
- Safely operate machines as instructed during in-house training
- Adhere to the prescribed in-house machine maintenance
- Maintain clear communication with your team and other departments
· Complete special projects as assigned by management

This position reports to the Liquids Production Manager.

Qualifications
- Independently able to read and comprehend batch tickets and measurements
- Must be able to operate scales, high-speed dispersers, a calculator, a lab scale, a production scale, and forklifts
- Basic math skills, including conversions and fractions
- Consistently demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs.
- Consistently demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in your work
Education And/Or Experience
Required: 1-2 years of mixing, blending, or compounding experience with paints or food items. High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED), or an Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
Preferred: 5 years of experience working in a blending environment.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Required: Valid Driver’s License
Preferred: Forklift Operators License
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
Includes climbing, balancing, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and handling. The maximum weight to be lifted will be less than 70 pounds.
Must have command of the senses of sight, hearing, speech, and touch. Must be able to see (20/20 vision with glasses) and hear (with mechanical assistance if necessary) sufficient to understand and comprehend individual one-on-one conversations. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This position will be working primarily indoors in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse. Exposure to a warehouse environment, such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
May be required to go outside to load or unload, which may be hot, cold, wet, and dirty.
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
