Carpenter / Laborer – Emergency Board-Up & Roof Tarp (On-Call Rotation)

About the Role
VersaPro Restoration & Construction is looking for a reliable, hands-on Carpenter / Laborer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who’s comfortable working in fast-paced environments, responding to emergency calls, and handling a variety of residential and commercial repair tasks.
This is not your typical 9–5 — we’re an emergency response company, so we need someone who can step up when it matters most.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform emergency board-ups and roof tarping
- Assist with general carpentry and property repairs
- Respond to after-hours emergency calls (rotating on-call schedule)
- Load/unload materials and drive trucks/trailers when needed
- Complete misc. maintenance and job site tasks
- Work alongside a team to complete jobs safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and professional job site
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive trucks and pull trailers
- No lifting restrictions (heavy lifting required)
- Comfortable working at heights (roofs, ladders, etc.)
- Willing to be part of a rotating on-call schedule (nights/weekends)
- Strong work ethic and team-first mentality
- Dependable, responsive, and takes pride in their work
- Basic carpentry or construction experience preferred (not required but a plus)
