We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will contribute to the design and development of scalable, secure, and user-centric applications that power Versant’s next-generation platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in startup-like environments, is eager to learn, and is passionate about using SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms to deliver value quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
Additional Requirements: Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-Versant worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
Salary range: $105,000 - $140,000. We are accepting applications for this position on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver full-stack solutions that solve real business problems.
- Implement scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and modern front-end applications.
- Use SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms where appropriate to accelerate delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Write secure, performant, and maintainable code.
- Work closely with product and architecture teams to ensure alignment in technical direction and business priorities.
Required Qualifications 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of backend development in languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.
- Skilled in in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
- Develop scalable and high performing microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar).
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in distributed environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
- Exposure to GenAI tools, SaaS platforms, and low-code/no-code tools.
- Familiarity with serverless technologies and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Working knowledge of monitoring stacks like Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK.
- Experience modernizing legacy systems or integrating with enterprise platforms.
- Awareness of DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code. Background in media, entertainment business domain is a plus.
