The On-Air Graphics Director will lead strategic initiatives and conduct daily business. Work with internal and external teams to develop and maintain graphics department operations for on-air broadcasts, graphics creation, and distribution. Identify and spearhead new opportunities. This role will support both studio and remote productions.

Job Description
The On-Air Graphics Director will lead strategic initiatives and conduct daily business. Work with internal and external teams to develop and maintain graphics department operations for on-air broadcasts, graphics creation, and distribution. Identify and spearhead new opportunities. This role will support both studio and remote productions.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the full end-to-end creative and graphics delivery workflows
- Continually monitor the performance of and address any technology needs of the department
- Co-ordinate across company divisions to maintain business continuity
- Manage third party relationships
- Conduct interviews and onboard new hires
- Lead a team of managers and work towards department goals
- Support the project management team in all aspects
- Plan out staffing schedules and resources
- Set & track budgets
- Collaborate with Art Directors to guide and facilitate the creative process
- Collaborate with show-side staff to set expectations, timelines and budgets as it pertains to their particular needs, shepherding projects from the build phase (pre-air) to the support phase (on-air support)
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum (8) years’ experience working at a network or broadcast design agency
- Strategic thinker with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation ability to influence across all levels, both inside and outside the organization
- Self-starter with exceptional organizational, project, and management skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Innovative mindset with positive energy and flexibility.
- Ability to lead and motivate direct reports and cross-functional teams.
- Love of sports is a plus
