What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Audit and Retail Receivables Accountant position at Versace?
Position Summary:
The Sales Audit and Retail Receivables Accountant is responsible for the accuracy of daily sales posting from the point of sale up to the ERP as well as reconciliation of different tender types with proper posting in the accounting system.
Key Responsibilities
- :Check and confirm sales posting from Xstore-Stealth-SAP
- .Reconciliation of daily sales for all US and CAD stores and Eco
- mWork with IT on mismatch of data to add back missing sales
- .Daily reconciliation of Cash and Credit Card transactions for all retail stores for US and CAD
- .Liaison with banks on short and over payments to identify the issue
- .Contacting stores and resolving discrepancies if not a bank issue
- .Monthly reconciliation and preparation of balance sheet rec for cash and credit card transactions for all retail stores for US and CA
- DPreparing monthly journal entries for any store cash and credit cards discrepancie
- sMonthly XST discrepancy check for Sox controls
- .Reconciliation of Deposits, Credit Notes and other miscellaneous tender

.Experience & Key Competencies
- :Accounting Background with a degree in accounting
- .2-3 Years in Sales audit and cash reconciliation
- .Retail industry experience preferable
- .SAP knowledge as well as Excel expertise
- .Good Communication skill
