Position Summary:
My client is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Representative with 3–5 years of industrial sales experience. Experience in the overhead crane industry is highly preferred. This role focuses on building long-term customer relationships by offering dependable, high-quality service across inspections, repairs, maintenance, and new installations for overhead cranes, jib cranes, and miscellaneous lifting systems. The goal is to become the provider of choice for customers’ ongoing inspection needs—monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual—while also delivering 24/7 responsive service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan across all core service lines:
- Inspections (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, Annual)
- Repair & Maintenance
- New Installations (Overhead Cranes, Jib Cranes, Misc. Lifting Systems)
- Build long-term customer relationships by identifying recurring inspection schedules and positioning the company as a trusted service partner.
- Establish a strong presence with facility managers, maintenance teams, and procurement decision-makers.
- Manage the full sales process, including prospecting, quoting, presenting value-driven solutions, negotiating, and closing.
- Promote 24/7 service capabilities to meet customers' urgent and after-hours needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and exceptional customer experiences.
- Track all activity through CRM tools and provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Maintain a strong understanding of OSHA/ASME compliance requirements and how services support customer safety and uptime.
- Represent the company at customer visits, industry events, and job site walkthroughs as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of industrial B2B sales experience; crane or material handling industry experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in consultative, relationship-based selling.
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple customer touchpoints.
- Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of technical systems or mechanical services is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Salary : $70,000 - $110,000
