Responsibilities
- Build, lead and oversee the indirect procurement function, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, policies, and compliance requirements
- Develop and execute category strategies across indirect spend (e.g., IT, professional services, facilities, marketing, travel, HR), driving cost efficiency and value realization
- Establish and maintain procurement governance, policies, and processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations
- Lead complex sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management for high-value and high-risk categories
- Partner closely with Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and business leaders to align procurement strategies with business needs
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, digitization, and use of procurement analytics and tools
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing indirect procurement team, fostering capability development and cross-functional collaboration
- Manage [$TBD M] in spend, with target to achieve ~ [TBD]% gross savings every year
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred) or/and 10 years of experience
- Extensive experience leading indirect procurement functions within a complex corporate environment
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation across indirect spend categories
- Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement governance
- Strong analytical capabilities including should-costing and benchmarking
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment; ability to lead through influence
- Advanced negotiation and supplier relationship management capabilities
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic insights
- Experience implementing procurement transformation initiatives and tools
- Can leverage digital and AI to advance the function
