Crew Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Crew Lead to oversee and execute structural installation work on military base construction projects. In this role, you will lead a dedicated crew in installing Cold Formed Metal (CFM) trusses and metal decking while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled trades leader looking for steady, high-impact project work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and direct daily job site operations for a team of installers on military base projects.

• Install Cold Formed Metal (CFM) trusses and metal decking according to structural plans.

• Read and interpret structural drawings and erection plans to ensure precise installation.

• Rig loads safely and effectively for crane-assisted erection activities.

• Maintain strict adherence to site safety protocols, OSHA standards, and base access regulations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Demonstrated experience installing Cold Formed Metal (CFM) trusses and metal decking.

• Proven ability to lead, direct, and motivate an installation crew on active job sites.

• Active OSHA 30 certification.

• Valid forklift, scissor lift, and aerial boom lift certifications.

• Possession of a state-issued REAL ID and a valid driver's license.

• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check for military base access.

• Willingness and ability to travel for project assignments.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience rigging loads for crane-assisted erection.

• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and erection plans.

• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

• Fall Arrest certification.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime opportunities.
