ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee property service operations across a portfolio of client sites in the Freehold, NJ area. In this leadership role, you will manage concierge, janitorial, and security personnel, ensuring high customer service standards, efficient scheduling, and strict compliance with safety and operational expectations. You will serve as the primary client contact, drive team performance, and manage site scheduling and payroll processes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and staffing across client portfolio sites to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
Conduct regular field visits (34 days per week) and random site inspections to confirm team professionalism, uniform compliance, and service adherence.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for field staff.
Oversee payroll administration and master schedule management in compliance with budgetary goals.
Ensure site safety standards by conducting inspections, managing workplace accident reports, and leading incident investigations.
Maintain proactive client communication, responding promptly to inquiries and addressing operational concerns with solutions-focused resolutions.
Respond to after-hours or emergency calls and provide shift coverage as needed to maintain required staffing levels.
Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and issue work orders for special non-contractual services.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience in a field supervisory or management-level position, ideally within hospitality, janitorial, or security operations.
At least 5 years of customer service experience with a strong commitment to hospitality standards.
Proven experience managing payroll and scheduling systems.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for frequent field travel across client sites.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and respond to after-hours emergency calls as required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general office software.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
NICE TO HAVE
3 or more years of security management or supervisory experience.
Experience in janitorial management or hotel operations.
Experience conducting workplace safety inspections or accident investigations.
