Infusion Coordinator – Veros Health
Schedule: Full-Time
Position Summary:
The Infusion Coordinator at Veros Health plays a vital front-facing role within our ambulatory infusion centers.
Positioned directly in front of the patient, this role ensures every individual feels seen, supported, and well-informed from the moment they arrive through the duration of their treatment journey. As the first point of contact during their infusion appointment, the Infusion Coordinator is responsible for reviewing patient documentation, confirming authorizations, answering real-time clinical or billing questions, and helping coordinate appropriate follow-up care.
This role requires strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, excellent phone etiquette, and exceptional attention to detail, as well as a polished, professional appearance and environment, helping set the tone for the Veros Health patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in infusion patients, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere at every appointment.
Answer ALL incoming calls promptly and professionally. Respond to or appropriately route inquiries regarding scheduling, clinical concerns, billing questions, or other general matters.
Review the patient’s authorization status and insurance information prior to treatment; flag upcoming expiration dates and assist in initiating updates.
Assess and document any recent or ongoing side effects or changes in patient condition, and coordinate with nurses or providers as needed.
If patient requests to speak with a nurse or provider during their visit, you will facilitate those interactions when appropriate.
- Identify and address patient care gaps—e.g., "I see you haven’t seen your provider in 6 months—let’s get you scheduled for a follow-up."
Ensure that each patient has appropriate follow-up appointments scheduled based on their treatment plan. All infusion patients should not leave without a follow up scheduled.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Greenway and WeInfuse, including notes about communication, concerns, or clinical red flags.
Collaborate with the Care Coordination and Authorization Teams to ensure a smooth patient experience and prevent treatment delays.

Qualifications:
Prior experience in healthcare coordination, infusion support, or patient advocacy highly preferred.
- MA experience or LPN certification highly preferred
- Clinical understanding of infusion therapies, biologics, and chronic illness treatment plans required.
- Familiarity with insurance authorizations, benefits verification, and patient intake processes.
- Strong working knowledge of Greenway, WeInfuse, or similar EHR/infusion platforms highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to professionally manage and direct incoming calls and route inquiries efficiently.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple patient interactions, and prioritize follow-ups effectively.
