Requirements
- Active license in Property & Casualty and/or Life, Health, and Accident in the State of Missouri (or a willingness to obtain prior)
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or the insurance industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic computer literacy (CRM, email, quoting systems, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Client Consultation & Needs Assessment
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their insurance needs, lifestyle, and risk exposure
- Recommend suitable insurance products that align with client goals and budgets
- Product Knowledge & Sales
- Present and explain policy features, benefits, and coverage options in a clear and accessible manner
- Cross-sell and upsell policies based on client needs and eligibility
- Close sales and ensure completion of all documentation, applications, and disclosures
- Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular follow-up, policy reviews, and support
- Respond promptly to inquiries regarding policy coverage, claims, renewals, and adjustments
- Business Development
- Proactively generate leads through referrals, networking, social media, events, and community involvement
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and growth goals
- Administrative & Compliance Duties
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions
- Stay up to date with industry regulations, product changes, and compliance requirements
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs as needed
