Security Systems Analyst

Client Overview:Vernovis is partnering with a leading organization to support their physical security systems and data integrity initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of security system data across multiple platforms.
What You'll Do:- Perform detailed audits of physical security systems including access control, video management, and alarm platforms
- Validate data accuracy and completeness across multiple systems of record (SiteOwl, CCure, Avigilon, Sureview)
- Reconcile users, permissions, devices, alarms, and configuration data between systems
- Identify discrepancies such as misconfigurations, orphaned records, outdated entries, and systemic data issues
- Ensure systems remain clean, consistent, and aligned with internal standards through recurring validation efforts
- Track and document findings, corrections, and validation outcomes to support long-term system reliability
- Analyze root causes of data inconsistencies and collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, and vendors on remediation
- Support process improvements, including development of audit routines, validation checklists, and standard operating procedures
- Prepare clear summaries of findings and communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- 4 years of experience in audit, assurance, data validation, risk analysis, or control testing
- Strong analytical experience working with large or complex datasets, with advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and data quality issues with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working in structured, process-driven environments with strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple review efforts simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Background in corporate tax audit, internal audit, or assurance functions
- Experience performing reconciliations between systems or databases
- Familiarity with IT systems, access control concepts, or cybersecurity fundamentals
